What is Fat Cavitation?

How does it work?
A fully trained therapist will apply a specially designed hand piece to your skin. The hand piece will then transmit low level ultrasonic waves which consist of compression- expansion impulses that travel in high-speed cycles. This back and forth cycle then causes an infinite quantity of micro-cavities or micro-bubbles that gradually enlarge. This progressive enlargement finishes as micro bubbles start to collide and implode, producing shock waves that favour emulsification and elimination of fat tissues (this phenomena is called “cavitation”). The liquid is then easily vacuumed out from the body using the lymphatic and urinary system.
How is it possible to remove solid fat through the lymphatic and urinary systems?
The Ultrasound Cavitation Non-Surgical “Liposuction” emulsifies fat and coverts solid fat into a liquid substance that is easy to remove through the lymphatic and urinary systems. Some of the melted fat will be used for energy and the rest will be excreted through the urine that is why drinking water is essential. If you do not drink adequate water before and after each treatment, it will be harder for your system to remove the fat. You may notice an increase in urination after each session.
Is Fat Cavitation Painful?
No, most clients consider the procedure painless and comfortable. During the treatment you will feel a little heat in the targeted area and a little buzzing sound in your ears but it does not cause pain. There may be a slight discomfort due to the specific low frequency ultrasound noise experienced, but it poses no harm and disappears as soon as you are not in contact with the transducer.
Is it possible to lose weight with Fat cavitation?
Because you are reducing fat deposits you may experience some loss in weight but Fat Cavitation itself is not a weight loss treatment. It is particularly indicated to reduce adipose fat and cellulite, which will reduce circumference. Diet suggestions will be recommended to follow throughout your treatment program and will enhance the elimination of fat deposits and the loss of weight.
Am I a good candidate for Fat Cavitation ?
It is ideal for people who are dissatisfied with certain areas of fatty deposits but do not want to undergo any invasive surgical treatment like liposuction. A good candidate is someone looking for fat removal from a specific area. The treatment does not necessarily result in overall weight loss, but results in improved shape & contour and size reduction in the treatment area. If you are currently following a healthy diet or a good weight loss plan, results will be more significant and weight loss will more likely occur.
Great results can be obtained for those who have up to 10-15 kg or less to lose. Fat Cavitation and body contouring is not a treatment for morbid obesity nor is it a weight loss cure. If a significant amount of surplus fat exists, we recommend successfully dieting before beginning the treatment program.
Is there anyone who is not suited to this treatment?
Yes. Fat Cavitation treatments are not recommended for people with active heart disease or vascular disease, pacemakers, thrombosis, patients requiring medical transplants, pregnancy and breast feeding, individuals with metal prostheses or any serious illness, or for those who are taking lipid lowering drugs or anticoagulant drugs.
How much time should pass between two sessions?
It is best to schedule your appointments 3-7 days apart. It is essential to allow your body enough time to metabolise and excrete fats and waste materials after each session. Maintenance treatments are recommended with the first four taking place two week apart and then once every month after that to maintain your results.
Before coming to treatment
We recommend a low cab calorie diet, no coffee, no caffeine and no alcohol at least 3 hours before treatment and drink at least 1.5 litres of water before and after the session. Drinking water is a necessary part in order to eliminate the fat. Remove all metal jewellery before treatment.
What to do after treatment?
- To maximise results exercise within 12 hours after Fat Cavitation as you want to use up the energy so fat cell do not resettle back in your system.
- To maximise results you avoid eating carbohydrates and drinking alcohol for 72 hours to avoid the fats resettling.
- It is important to be well hydrated after Fat Cavitation. This can have an effect on the results. Please drink approximately 2 Litres of water per day after treatment. For best results stay hydrated as much as possible for 72 hours.
